I wish I didn’t get it, but I do.

I have had to work out how to integrate suicide into my life. I have not been able to ignore it but at the same time it feels impossible to accept myself as the sister whose brother died by suicide.

There may be stigma around sucide and we may feel silenced into talking about it, but I refuse to stay quiet.
