Why We Became a Community Interest Company

In June 2026, Suicide Grief Support became a Community Interest Company (CIC) because we believe that specialist support after suicide loss should be rooted in community, compassion, and connection.

As a CIC, our purpose is not simply to deliver retreats and educational resources, but to reduce the stigma and isolation that so often accompany suicide bereavement and to contribute to suicide postvention efforts.

Unlike a traditional business, any surplus generated is reinvested into our mission to expand support and increase access for those who need it most.

Your donation helps us:

Provide subsidised retreat places for people who could not otherwise afford specialist support

Develop educational resources for individuals and families affected by suicide loss.

Produce our podcast to reduce stigma and help people feel less alone.

Raise awareness of suicide bereavement and promote compassionate postvention.

Expand our community impact as Suicide Grief Support CIC grows.
